Privacy policy
This page explains what Flush My Tankless collects when you call or send a request, why, and who sees it. Service is performed by independent local technicians. Pricing and availability are set by the technician serving your area.
What we collect
- Service requests. When you send the form we receive your name, phone number, email (if you give one), city, the heater brand you chose, any details you type, and the page you sent it from.
- Calls. Calls to our number pass through a call-tracking system that logs the calling number and the date, time and length of the call.
- Website use. This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising scripts. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- What we measure. On every page we record what was clicked and the visible text of what you clicked, how far down the page you read, how long you stayed, whether you tapped the phone number or started the form, and any text you copy from the page (up to 120 characters). We don't set a cookie for this and we don't store your IP address: we turn it into a one-way code that changes every day, so we can't recognise you tomorrow or on another site. While the tab is open your browser keeps a few small notes — a random number for this visit, whether the visit is in the replay sample, and a counter for the recording — and deletes them when you close the tab. They make several pages in one visit count as one visit.
- Session replays. About one visit in four may be recorded as a replay of the page (what moved, what was clicked, how far it scrolled) so we can see where the page is confusing. Anything you type is hidden before the recording leaves your browser, including in the request form. The recording does not hide the address of the page you are on or the text already printed on it.
- Opting out. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we record none of the measurements or replays above.
How we use it
We use your details to book your appointment with the independent local technician serving your area, so that Flush My Tankless and that technician can call or text you about your request, and to send a reminder when your next flush is due. We also use request records to check that requests are being answered.
Who we share it with
- The independent local technician serving your area, who handles your appointment.
- Service providers that run our phone line, form handling and hosting, only to operate those services.
- Anyone we are legally required to share it with.
We don't sell your information, and we don't send it to more than one technician for the same request.
How long we keep it
We keep request and call records for as long as we need them to handle appointments, send reminders and resolve questions about them, and then delete them. Session replays are deleted after 30 days.

Changes
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page.
